Predictive Q+ (PQP) is an AI-powered software platform designed to improve manufacturing efficiency through advanced process monitoring, prediction, and optimization. Originally developed for the automotive and steel wire industries, the platform acts as a comprehensive process control station, enabling early detection of operational deviations, quality risks, and maintenance needs by integrating data from diverse production systems.
Within the project consortium, Predictive Q+ has been expanded and validated across different industrial applications. TEC Eurolab, an industrial tomography specialist, applied the platform to enhance predictive maintenance of tomography systems, demonstrating its capability to support complex, data-intensive manufacturing environments.
Innovaplast participated in the project as an end-user, utilizing the Predictive Q+ platform to optimize process parameters in the production of bacteria-based biodegradable bioplastic raw materials. By integrating real production data, Innovaplast contributed to validating the platform’s adaptability to biotechnological production processes, supporting improved process stability, resource efficiency, and consistent product quality.
The Predictive Q+ project highlights the potential of AI-driven digital solutions to be transferred across industries, enabling manufacturing companies to optimize their production processes, respond effectively to market demands, and maintain competitiveness in a dynamic economic environment.
